ASSESSMENT OF HOST PLANT INFLUENCE ON LARVAL ECTOPARASITOID DIGLYPHUS ISAEA'S STINGING BEHAVIOR

چکیده
The parasitism efficiency of a parasitoid largely depends on its host location and stinging behaviour. This study aimed to assess the behaviour Diglyphus isaea larvae some selected plants. Three plants, including tomato, eggplant, pepper, were evaluated for their influence D. isaea's results showed that was significantly influenced by plant. highest frequency observed tomato followed eggplant pepper provides insight into plant preference isaea, which can be used optimize use in biological control programs.
